This policy provides you with 24/7 cover, 365 days a year UK breakdown insurance for cars, vans and motorcycles.

If you breakdown in the UK, our recovery operator will attend the scene speedily. Our average attendance time is 30 to 40 minutes.

We will pay for the call out charge and up to one hour's labour costs for one of our approved repairers to attend the breakdown scene and, where possible, carry out emergency repairs.

If your vehicle cannot be repaired at the breakdown scene we will pay the cost of recovery for the vehicle driver and up to four passengers to the nearest suitable garage or if you choose to your onward destination or home, whichever is nearest. If repairs cannot be completed at the breakdown scene within a reasonable time you will be offered one of the following options:

  • The cost of overnight accommodation in the vicinity of the breakdown for the driver and up to four passengers, or
  • Recovery of the vehicle, driver and up to four passenger from the breakdown scene to one location within territorial limits, or
  • Road/rail costs from breakdown scene to chosen location for driver and up to four passengers, plus a subsequent return journey for one person to collect vehicle.
  • The cost of hiring a replacement vehicle.
