This policy provides you with 24/7 cover, 365 days a year Commercial Breakdown Insurance for commercial vehicles up to 16 tonnes.

If you breakdown, our recovery operator will attend the scene speedily. Our average attendance time is 30 to 40 minutes.

We will pay for the call out charge and up to one hour’s labour costs for one of our approved repairers to attend the scene and, where possible, carry out emergency repairs.

If your vehicle cannot be repaired at the scene we will pay the cost of recovery to the nearest suitable garage or if you choose to your onward destination or home, whichever is nearest.

If repairs cannot be completed within a reasonable time you will have the following options:

  • Cost of overnight accommodation in the vicinity of the breakdown for the driver, or
  • Recovery of vehicle and driver to one location within territorial limits, or
  • Road and rail costs from breakdown to chosen location and subsequent return journey costs to collect vehicle
